In accordance with subsection 287.057(14), Florida Statutes, “Each contract manager who is responsible for contracts in excess of $100,000 annually must complete training in contract management and become a certified contract manager.” Certification requires successful completion of eight online training modules, a two-day instructor-led training, and a final assessment, with a minimum score of 80%. Participants will receive additional information regarding the online training modules after completing the registration process; the online training modules must be completed prior to the instructor-led training.
Each participant must receive authorization from his or her supervisor and agency purchasing director prior to completing the registration process. Training dates and locations for the first six months of 2020 are provided below:

Please contact your agency purchasing director for registration information. The division will notify agency purchasing directors and post notices on the State Purchasing Service Updates page when additional training dates are available for registration.
Mandatory course materials must be printed by participants and brought to the instructor-led training. Optional course materials may be printed by participants and brought to the training, or participants may borrow course materials from the instructor for use during class; please note that the instructor carries a limited number of copies, so participants who opt to borrow course materials may have to share with other participants.
Participants are certified upon successful completion of the course, which includes passing the final assessment with a score of 80% or higher; certificates are usually issued within 90 days of course completion. Certification is valid for four years or until the expiration date shown on the certificate, whichever is later.
